The Cleverminds free school is yet to be opened to the children in the slums of Iyara community Warri but each Saturday when we visit the community to mentor the kids, they are so happy to play, run around and do all forms of stunts to make themselves happy.

On Saturday last week, we had Mama and Miss Orode speak to these children.

Mama spent time talking to them on the need to have role models, staying true to purpose and refusing to be influenced by the negativity in their community while Miss. Orode spent time talking with the children and inspiring hope in them that education is a good way out to harness possibilities.

The children are very pleased and were happy. They know it’s their school, they know it’s a safe place for them, they can’t wait for September when we finally open the school for learning. They pray for Mama and Miss. Orode.

It’s our joy to see role models come in from time to time to spend their Saturdays with Cleverminds educational foundation. God is helping us build the first free private primary school for orphans and underprivileged children in Iyara community and we are so grateful to all who keep supporting our work.
